Acorn Adventure is the UK's leading provider of real outdoor adventure camps for schools, groups and families with centres in the UK & France.
We are currently recruiting for Cooks for the summer season at our centres in the UK, Northern & Southern France starting in April 2009!
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to live and work at an activity based holiday centre. We provide action filled camping holidays for groups of young people and families. This exciting residential position gives you the opportunity to work within a team and assist in the production of three well-balanced wholesome meals a day for between 150 and 300 guests and staff. You may be required to take charge of the kitchen in the Catering Managers absence.
As well as food preparation you will be responsible for ensuring food safety legislation is being adhered to and company standards are being met.

Requirements:
A recognised catering qualification
Food hygiene certificate
Experience in a high-volume catering environment
What we Offer:
We offer a weekly wage (dependent on skills and qualifications), uniform, tented accommodation and meals. We also offer in-house training and you will have the opportunity to experience the activities on offer.
