Application Support - St Neots, Cambs

Our client, a highly acclaimed Software House that develops applications for the Medical sector, has a vacancy for a Support Analyst.

Our client's range of Software products are highly specialised. As a result, support calls require detailed invstigation and careful management. This will involve recreating the issue, investigating the underlying Oracle / SQL database and internal liaison with product managers, developers, and other support staff.

***You will be a fresh graduate OR have worked in a similar role with approx. 2 years commercial software applications support.***

Main Duties:

Provision of 1st/2nd/3rd Line support
Investigation and resolution of customer issues
Development and delivery of structured telephone and on-site training to customers
Development /execution of in-house software testing / test scripts.
Applicants must possess a relevant degree qualification or equivalent as a minimum educational standard, be proficient in Microsoft Office packages and have a minimum of 12 months relevant experience. SQL or Oracle or XML skills would be highly advantageous. The ability to work accurately within the structure of formal procedures is essential.
